Refund Policy

Limephone is committed to providing a transparent and satisfying experience for our customers. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which Limephone will issue refunds for services and virtual phone numbers, in compliance with applicable US laws and regulations.

We offer a full money-back guarantee for all US/Canada phone number purchases made on our website. If you are not satisfied with the product that you have purchased from us, you can get your money back – no questions asked. You are eligible for a full reimbursement within seven calendar days of your purchase (cooling-off period). In order to be eligible to the refund, the virtual number should remain unused including not receiving calls/SMS.

After the cooling-off period, you will no longer be eligible and won’t be able to receive a refund. We encourage our customers to try the service in the first week after their purchase to ensure it fits their needs.

International phone numbers outside usa are not covered under the refund policy and are non refundable.

General Refund Policy

  • No Refunds on Used Services: Generally, we do not offer refunds for services that have been used. This includes, but is not limited to, monthly subscriptions, usage fees, and activated add-on features.
  • Limited Refunds on Virtual Numbers: Refunds for virtual phone numbers are generally not provided once the number has been assigned to your account, due to the associated costs and administrative efforts involved.
  • Exceptions to the Policy: We may make exceptions to this policy at our sole discretion, particularly in cases of billing errors, significant service disruptions within our control, issues with number portability, or where required by applicable law.
  • Eligibility for Refunds: To be eligible for a refund, you must contact our customer support team within 7 days of the original purchase or charge.

Specific Refund Scenarios

  • Incorrect Charges: If you believe you were charged incorrectly, please contact our customer support team immediately. We will investigate and issue a full refund if an error is confirmed.
  • Service Unavailability: In the event of significant service disruptions caused by Limephone, we may issue a partial or full refund depending on the duration and impact of the outage.
  • Account Cancellation: If you cancel your Limephone account, you will not be refunded for any unused portion of your current billing cycle or for any virtual phone numbers associated with your account.
  • Number Portability Issues: If you encounter issues porting your number to or from Limephone due to errors on our part, we will work with you to resolve the issue and may issue a refund for the associated fees.
  • One-Time Services: One-time services, such as number porting or international calling credits, are generally non-refundable once the service has been initiated.
  • Compliance with State Laws:  This policy is subject to specific state laws and regulations regarding refunds and cancellations.
  • Service Fees: Processing & service fees are non-refundable. These are fees paid to our vendors and payment gateway. Therefore, if you receive a full refund, the cost of the service fee will be deducted from your refund.

Changes to the Refund Policy

Limephone reserves the right to modify this refund policy at any time, in compliance with applicable laws. Any changes will be posted on our website and will be effective immediately upon posting.

Refund Timelines

Refunds are performed using the payment method used to make the original purchase. Refunds take different amounts of time depending on how you paid. Usually, a refund takes 2-10 days but may take up to 45 days for certain payment methods.

Cancellation Policy

A customer may cancel a product with a recurring billing subscription at any time. A cancellation means that no future payments are charged to the customer’s account. The cancellation of a recurring billing product does not generate a refund – it will only stop any future payments.

Chargeback Policy

We’re committed to making sure you have a great experience with our services, so if you have any questions or issues with your purchase, we’d love to hear from you as soon as possible so we can help you resolve the issue. We try to respond to most inquiries via email within 24 hours during our business hours of Monday-Friday, 09:00-17:00.

If you need a refund for a purchase, please send us a refund request.

Please note that we will permanently close accounts from which we have received any chargebacks. Previous purchases will no longer be available for access in this case. Any PayPal disputes will automatically disable your account until the dispute is resolved.

All chargebacks and PayPal disputes, made without a preliminary request for a refund with us, will be immediately reported to the European Internet Fraud Agency.
